Non-Contact Removal

In this method of taking, the reach is greater than in contact taking. An opponent's stone can be removed if it is threatened by multiple stones, similar to contact removal. Therefore, two or more stones are needed to threaten the opponent's stone.

NCSA In this simple method, stone (1) captures or threatens all on the green squares. It is limited up to the square with stone (A). The limitation also applies to squares with its own stones. It is limited up to the square with stone (A) or up to the square with stone (B). The limitation also applies to squares with its own stones.
