Instructions for ZOP HOP (or watch video in Videos section)
Number of Players:
2-3 players (ideally 3)
Game Components:
- Game board "ZOP" in the shape of a triangle made up of 60 hexagons
- 4 types of pieces (red, green, blue, grey)
- Cards for marking target sides
Game Board Layout:
- 9 hexagons for each color (red, green, blue)
- The remaining hexagons are gray
Objective:
To jump your piece to each of the three sides of the triangle in a specified order, moving only on hexagons of your color.
Game Setup:
- Place the ZOP game board in the center of the table.
- Each player selects their colored piece and places it in one corner of the triangle.
- Deal each player cards to indicate the order of target sides.
Gameplay:
- Players take turns in a clockwise direction.

In their turn, a player can perform two types of actions:
- a) Move the piece: Move to an adjacent hexagon of their color.
- b) ZOP move: Rotate a group of hexagons on the game board.
- Players can only move on hexagons of their color.
- It is forbidden to jump onto a space occupied by an opponent's piece.
- The goal is to reach the opposite side of the triangle from the starting position.
- After reaching the first target side, the player continues to the next side according to the order on the cards.
ZOP Move:
Each player can only play with those groups where he has at least one piece.
A ZOP move allows a player to rotate a group of hexagons on the game board.
This action can be used to create new paths or block opponents.
Victory:
The game ends when one player reaches all three sides of the triangle in the specified order.
The player who first completes the path across all three sides is the winner.
Strategy:
- Plan your path ahead and use ZOP moves to create advantageous positions.
- Watch the movement of other players and try to block their progress by smartly positioning your hexagons.
- Use gray spaces to create bridges between your colored hexagons.
