One player places letters on the game board, trying to avoid forming words. The next player then takes their turn, making ZOP moves to create words. Each player records their words with their marker. Play continues clockwise until all players have taken their turns. This completes one round, after which further rounds are played.
Rules:
- Words must have at least four letters. This minimum length can be adjusted by agreement among players, potentially varying based on age or skill level.
- Each player has four ZOP moves per round, during which they can claim different words they have created. The number of ZOP moves per round can be adjusted by agreement, possibly based on age or skill level.
- Letters are used without diacritical marks (accents). Words like "děla" (cannon) and "dělá" (does) are considered the same. This is an example for languages that use diacritics
- Words are considered identical if they are different grammatical forms of the same word. For example, "domek" (small house) and "domkem" (with a small house) are considered the same, and only the first instance is scored.
- Letters must connect according to the arrows shown in the diagram below. For example, ABE, ABD, and FBE are allowed, but ABC, ABF, and EBC are not.
- Extra bonus points may be awarded for words not located on the same circle (details of circle arrangement not provided).
Scoring (unless otherwise agreed):
- 4-letter words: 1 point
- 5-letter words: 3 points
- 6-letter words: 6 points
- 7-letter words: 10 points
- Each additional letter beyond 7: +4 points
