This game is played with multiple players; ideally around five. Players take turns in a clockwise direction, each player having one turn before the next player begins their turn. Rounds continue until players decide to stop or reach a predetermined point limit.
Stones with images are placed on three rotators (the specific nature of 'rotators' is not defined). One player rotates all the rotators. The next player chooses a rotator and identifies a criterion that the images on that rotator share in common. Other players then search for images outside of the selected rotator that meet the same criterion.
The player who chose the rotator receives one point for each image on their selected rotator that fits the criterion. They lose one point for each image *outside* the selected rotator that meets the criterion.
If players have additional images available outside the rotators, each may exchange one image from a rotator for an image from outside the rotators. After the image exchange, the player who chose the rotator rotates all the rotators, and the next player proceeds.
The criterion can be anything: color, shape, properties, whether it's living, a vehicle, man-made, located in space, etc. However, the player must be able to justify why a particular image meets the criterion.
Special Rules:
- If only one image on the chosen rotator fits the criterion, six points are deducted, and no images outside the rotator are searched for. This prevents players from using overly specific descriptions (e.g., "It's a horse").
- The conjunction "or" is not allowed; the criterion must be unambiguous. For example, "liquid or gaseous" is not allowed, but "not solid" is.
- The conjunction "and" should not be used for the same type of criterion. For instance, "red and green" is not allowed, but "green animal" is.
